Chenai Nettey, MD
Dr. Nettey is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician with fellowship training in Sports Medicine. She received her medical degree from Meharry Medical College. Dr. Nettey did a General Surgery internship at Case Western University, then, deciding to focus on the whole patient, she went back to Meharry for her Family Medicine residency where she served as Chief Resident. After, Dr. Nettey completed her Sports Medicine Fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso Texas (TTUHSC). She stayed on as Family Medicine core faculty, as the Associate Program Director for the Sports Medicine Fellowship, and as the Associate Family Medicine Clerkship Director. She covered sideline medicine for Division I college UTEP, El Paso Locomotives FC, Bowie High school, and Parkland High school.
Dr. Nettey’s passions are helping patients put their mental and physical health first. She enjoys taking care of athletes of all ages and ranges from professional to the weekend warrior. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, sewing, cooking, baking, DIY’ing, and taking on yet another new active hobby.
